2026 Sakurahama Beach Full-Day Experience Course
From July 12 (Sunday) to August 31 (Monday) 2026, open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., this full-day itinerary centers on Sakurahama Beach and lets you fully experience Tosashimizu City, the gateway to Cape Ashizuri. In the morning, first stop at Roadside Station Mejika no Sato Tosashimizu to see local seafood and specialty products, then visit Ashizuri Marine Museum SATOUMI to meet the sea creatures living at the southernmost tip of Shikoku. At midday, explore the scenic Tatsuikushi Coastal Area with its unique rock formations and enjoy a seaside meal. The highlight is Sakurahama Beach in the afternoon. The beach has facilities including toilets, showers (hot water 100 yen), and 16 free parking spaces, and swimming is free. In the clear seas of Tosashimizu City, enjoy water play and sandcastle building all afternoon. The charm of Sakurahama lies in its quiet, open feel—quite different from the bustling beach houses found elsewhere. Pack your swimsuit and towel, and head to the summer sea at the southernmost tip of Shikoku.
