2026 JGSDF Kasumime Camp Summer Festival: A Full-Day Course

This full-day course is built around the fireworks scheduled at Kasumime Camp (霞目駐屯地) in Kasumime, Wakabayashi Ward, Sendai City, on Sunday, July 26, 2026. At midday, enjoy lunch and shopping around Sendai Station, then cool off in the lush Tsutsujigaoka Park (榴岡公園) while getting a taste of Sendai's history. In the afternoon, visit the ruins of Mutsu Kokubunji Temple (陸奥国分寺跡), once the center of Tohoku in the Nara period, and spend a relaxed time at this quiet historic site. In the evening, pick up dinner while walking through the town of Kasumime (霞目) in preparation for the fireworks.
