2026 Yuza Town Sunset Festival - Yuza Town Summer Fireworks - Full Day Enjoyment Course
A full-day course to enjoy Yuza Town (遊佐町), spread at the foot of Mount Chokai (鳥海山), centered around the Yuza Town Sunset Festival - Yuza Town Summer Fireworks on Saturday, July 25, 2026. At noon, visit Maruike (丸池様), a mysterious pond with vivid blue-green colors. In the afternoon, visit Fukinoura Kuchinogu Shrine of Chokai Shrine (鳥海山大物忌神社吹浦口ノ宮) and Juurokurahkan Rocks (十六羅漢岩), where Buddhist statues are carved into seaside cliffs. In the evening, pick up dinner at a roadside rest area, then head to Nishi Hama Beach (西浜海水浴場), the venue, and wait for the performance while enjoying the sea breeze. Starting at 7:20 PM, fireworks light up the night sky overlooking Mount Chokai. A unique one-day plan of Yuza Town, where you can enjoy both the mysterious pond and seaside fireworks.
