2026 Yamasa Dam Campsite Festival: A Full-Day Course

This course centers on the Yamasa Dam Campsite Festival, held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, and spends a full day enjoying the mountain dam lake in Hirose-cho, Yasugi City, Shimane Prefecture. During the day, feel the breeze off the water at the dam lake and play freely at the campsite. In the afternoon, take a walk through nearby satoyama countryside and savor nature unique to the mountains. The festival begins in the evening, and admission requires purchasing a yakiniku party ticket (2,000 yen each). At night, fireworks are launched into the mountain night sky starting at 8:45 p.m. It's a summer day plan in Yasugi where you can fully enjoy both nature experiences and fireworks. Since this is a high-altitude area, it tends to cool down from evening even in summer. There is no official announcement of the number of fireworks launched, so please check on-site information on the day. In case of rain, the event is postponed to Sunday, July 26.
