2026 Ichibata Electric Railway Fireworks Train (Satogata Nursery School Summer Festival): A Full-Day Course

This course centers on the Satogata Nursery School Summer Festival, held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, and the special “Satogata Fireworks Train,” and spends a full day exploring Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture. During the day, watch trains at an Ichibata Electric Railway transfer station and enjoy learning at a science museum. In the afternoon, tour traditional Izumo merchant-house architecture and touch on local history. In the evening, take a break at a café in the shopping arcade, then head toward Satogata-cho, where the fireworks will be launched, to prepare for the night. At night, the “Satogata Fireworks Train” runs, departing Kawato Station at 8:22 p.m. (fare: 100 yen for adults, 50 yen for children), and stops near Satogata Nursery School while the fireworks are launched. About 150 fireworks are launched — a cozy, family-friendly show timed to a local nursery school's summer festival.
