2026 Fureai Land Miyakejima Marine School 21 Festival Grand Fireworks Display: A Full-Day Enjoyment Course
This is a one-day course centered on the Fureai Land Miyakejima Marine School 21 Festival Grand Fireworks Display, held at the Sabigahama Port parking lot (Ako Fishing Port passenger terminal parking lot) in Miyake Village, Tokyo, on Saturday, July 25, 2026. At midday, enjoy the lush forest and bird watching at Lake Tairo and the Akakokko-kan Bird Center, where the nature unique to a volcanic island spreads out. In the afternoon, visit Shiitori Shrine, which conveys the 1983 eruption to this day, and touch the history of the island. At the ruins of the former Ako Elementary and Junior High School, view a valuable preserved facility that conveys the memory of the eruption. In the evening, have dinner near the venue, Sabigahama Port, while staking out a spot, and wait for the sky to darken. At night, fireworks are launched into the night sky over the port, bringing the festival to a close. This is a one-day plan to feel the nature and history unique to Miyakejima, an island that lives alongside its volcano.
