2026 Charity Beer Garden Fireworks Festival: A Full-Day Course

This is a full-day course centered on the 44th Charity Beer Garden (第44回チャリティービアガーデン), held from 5:15 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, July 24, 2026, letting you fully enjoy Sakawa Town (佐川町) in Kochi Prefecture, home to a preserved sake-brewing townscape, from midday onward. At midday, walk Sakagura no Michi (Sake Brewery Street) (酒蔵の道), lined with whitewashed sake breweries, and stroll through the atmospheric townscape where sake brewery buildings stand shoulder to shoulder. Next, visit Makino Park (牧野公園), associated with the botanist Tomitaro Makino (牧野富太郎), and take a break on the lush green hilltop while taking in the plants and the townscape. In the afternoon, stop by Aoyama Bunko (青山文庫) to learn about Sakawa Town's history and culture. In the evening, secure a spot while picking up dinner around the venue, the plaza in front of Sakawa Town Hall (佐川町役場), and wait for nightfall. At night, fireworks colored by the local charity event are launched into the night sky over Sakawa Town.
