2026 – The 35th Taiki Town Rekifune River Clear Stream Festival Doshin Fireworks Display (大樹町歴舟川清流まつり 道新花火大会): A Full One-Day Course
This course centers on the 35th Taiki Town Rekifune River Clear Stream Festival Doshin Fireworks Display (大樹町歴舟川清流まつり 道新花火大会), held from 7:20 PM on Sunday, August 2, 2026, on the riverbed upstream of Taiki Bridge (大樹橋) over the Rekifune River (歴舟川) in Taiki Town (大樹町), Hiroo District (広尾郡), Hokkaido. At midday, enjoy local flavors at the roadside station (道の駅), then try gold-panning in the Rekifune River (歴舟川), known for some of the clearest water in Japan. In the afternoon, stroll through the town center, and in the evening, have a meal before securing a spot on the riverbed. From 7:20 PM, fireworks launch into the night sky along the clear stream, coloring the summer night together with the murmur of the river. It's a relaxed, quintessentially Hokkaido day plan that lets you fully enjoy abundant nature, playing in the river, and fireworks.
