
Full-Day Course Featuring 2026 'White Chrysanthemum' Irei no Hanabi (Commemoration Fireworks)
A full-day course enjoying Nagaoka, the fireworks city, featuring the commemoration fireworks 'White Chrysanthemum' to be held on August 1st (Saturday), 2026. Starting in early evening from in front of Nagaoka Station, we visit the Nagaoka War-Damaged Materials Museum preserving the history of the air raid and express prayers for peace. In the afternoon, the whole family can enjoy moving freely at Yukyuzan Park, which also features a zoo. In the evening, we take a break with dinner at the complex facility Aore Nagaoka. At night, we move to the Shinano River embankment and at 10:30 PM, just three 'White Chrysanthemum' fireworks rise into the night sky. On the eve of the lively Nagaoka Fireworks Festival, these fireworks offering quiet prayers are a special event. A memorable summer night in Nagaoka, filled with history and prayers for peace.
