This course lets you enjoy a full day in Tensui, Tamana City, Kumamoto Prefecture, known as a place with ties to Natsume Soseki (夏目漱石). At midday, visit Rengein Tanjoji Okunoin (蓮華院誕生寺奥之院), known for one of the world's largest temple bells, and explore its grand grounds. In the afternoon, walk through the historic hot spring area that served as the setting for the novel Kusamakura (草枕), enjoying a stroll that brings you close to the world of literature. In the evening, head to Kusamakura Onsen Tensui (草枕温泉てんすい) and relax on the spacious lawn as you cool off in the evening air.
