2026 Akishima Citizen Kujira Festival Dream Fireworks Full-Day Course
A course to enjoy the green and streets of the Tama area for a full day, with the Akishima Citizen Kujira Festival Dream Fireworks held on August 29 (Saturday), 2026 as the star attraction. During the day, spend a relaxed time surrounded by flowers and greenery in the vast Akishowa Showa Kinen Koen (Showa Memorial Park), and in the afternoon, find cool relief through shopping and breaks at Mori Town. In the evening, visit Haisojidaishi Temple, then have dinner near Akishima Station to prepare for the fireworks. At night, approximately 2,000 fireworks will illuminate the summer night sky from Akishima Civic Stadium. A summer day plan unique to Akishima where parks and streetscapes are harmonized, easily accessible from central Tokyo.
