2026 Saku Chikumagawa Grand Fireworks Festival (佐久千曲川大花火大会) Full-Day Course
This course centers on the Saku Chikumagawa Grand Fireworks Festival (佐久千曲川大花火大会) held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, and lets you fully enjoy Saku City for a day. By day, pray for health and longevity at Pinkoro Jizoson (ぴんころ地蔵尊), see the nationally rare star-shaped castle ruins at Tatsuoka Castle Goryokaku (龍岡城五稜郭), and enjoy shopping in front of Sakudaira Station (佐久平駅). In the evening, return to the Chikuma River (千曲川) riverbed for a meal and to claim a spot, then at night about 4,000 fireworks color the night sky over the Chikuma River. A one-day plan packed generously with history, nature, and a Shinshu Saku (信州佐久) summer.
