2026 Gujo Odori (All-Night Dance) Full-Day Immersion Course
Experience the peak of Gujo Odori—Japan's most vibrant Bon Odori festival spanning 400+ years—on the first all-night dance night of 2026 (August 13). This full-day course takes you through the water town of Gujo Hachiman: preview the dance at the museum, craft traditional food samples, climb to Gujo Hachiman Castle for views of the castle town and Yoshida River, and discover the cool spring-fed lanes. At 8 PM, join the dancing circles before the former prefectural government building. In true Gujo tradition, don't watch—dance. Experience the heat and energy that flows until 5 AM.
