2026 Basara Festival One-Day Full-Experience Course
A full-day course to enjoy the first day of the Basara Festival (開催August 29-30, 2026), a creative dance festival held throughout Nara. Visit Todai-ji Temple (東大寺), known for the Great Buddha, and explore Nara Park where you can interact with deer. Stroll through the atmospheric Nara-machi (ならまち) district, enjoy an early dinner on Sanjo Street, then head to the Basara Festival at JR Nara Station's front plaza at 5 PM. A full day experiencing the vibrant energy of creative dance against Nara's ancient cityscape.
