2026 Juman-Goku Festival Full-Day Experience Course
A full-day course centered on the opening day (September 12, 2026) of the Juman-Goku Festival held in the Daisho-ji district of Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, a castle town that thrived as the administrative center of the Daisho-ji clan, a branch of the Kaga clan, governing one hundred thousand koku. During the day, explore Daisho-ji Castle Ruins overlooking the castle town and Zensho-ji Temple with its five hundred Arhat statues, then visit the museum dedicated to Kutani pottery, a traditional craft. After discovering the world of mountains and literature at the culture hall associated with local hero Fukuda Kyuya, head to the festival venue in the Daisho-ji district in the evening. A day in early autumn where families leisurely enjoy walking through the bustling streets that carry on the history of the castle town.
