2026 Kanebo Site Park Fountain Full-Day Course

A one-day course starring the Kanebo Site Park (Suzunomori Park) Fountain in Matsusaka City, walking the old castle town and finishing with water play. According to the official guidance from Matsusaka City, the fiscal 2026 fountain runs from Saturday 25 April to Wednesday 30 September, 8:00 to 18:00. Admission is free, and three patterns of spray, including mist and water columns, rise from the centre of the lawn plaza, making it a delight just to watch. There is also a shallow stream and combination play equipment, so children can move back and forth between getting soaked and playing on dry land. The same park holds the Haniwa Hall cultural property centre and a gallery housed in a red-brick warehouse, reassuring places to escape rain or strong sunshine. In the morning, tour the Matsusaka Castle Ruins (松坂城跡) and the Goshoban Yashiki (御城番屋敷) just a short walk away, and touch Matsusaka's history through its stone walls and samurai townscape. Take a leisurely lunch on the street lined with merchant houses below the castle, then head to the fountain in the afternoon.
