2026 Koyozan-Minami Park Wading Pool (紅葉山南公園 徒渉池) Full-Day Course

A free full-day course starring the wading pool at Koyozan-Minami Park (紅葉山南公園 徒渉池) in Ishikari City. In 2026 it is open from Monday, June 15 to Tuesday, September 15, from 10:00 to 16:00, with hours extended to 9:00-18:00 during the summer holidays of the city's elementary schools. It closes every Thursday for cleaning, so be sure to check the day of the week before you go. The pool is shallow, so even children who have only just started walking can dip their feet in and play safely. In the morning, visit Sato Suisan Salmon Factory near Ishikari Bay New Port. Watch the salmon being processed through the glass, then have an early lunch of salmon dishes unique to Ishikari. Early in the afternoon, head out to Hoshioki Green Space in Teine Ward, Sapporo, and feel the nature preserved in the middle of town along the wetland boardwalk. The finale is the Koyozan-Minami Park wading pool, where you can splash about until closing at 16:00.
