2026 Gunma Flower Park + Splash Pond (ぐんまフラワーパークプラス じゃぶじゃぶ池) Full-Day Course
This is a day course centered on Gunma Flower Park + Splash Pond (ぐんまフラワーパークプラス じゃぶじゃぶ池) at Gunma Flower Park + (ぐんまフラワーパークプラス), which spreads across the southern foot of Mt. Akagi. According to the official website, the splash pond is open from Saturday, July 18 through Monday, August 31, 2026, from 9:00 to 16:30. Its highlight is being able to get thoroughly soaked by showers and fountains, and every Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 and 14:00 there's a Bubble Time where a huge amount of foam bursts out. A happy bonus is that during this period, admission is free for elementary and junior high school students. The park spreads out with flower fields of over 13,000 plants, so between rounds of water play you can walk through cool shaded areas and flower beds. For safety, footwear that protects the feet, such as water shoes, is required, and children who are not yet potty-trained cannot use the facility, so please check in advance. In the morning, walk the castle ruins on the southern foot of Mt. Akagi at the site of Ogo Castle (大胡城址), then finish lunch at the roadside station Green Flower Farm Ogo (道の駅ぐりーんふらわー牧場・大胡) while enjoying the direct-sales shop and the windmill's observation tower. In the afternoon, it's finally time for the splash pond. It's an outing unique to the southern foot of Mt. Akagi, where you can take in both flowers and splashing water in one trip.
