2026 Nagasaki Prefectural General Sports Park Wai Wai Pool: A Full Day of Fun
This full-day course centers on the Wai Wai Pool (わいわいプール) at the Nagasaki Prefectural General Sports Park in Isahaya City, open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Saturday, July 18 to Monday, August 31, 2026. With a 25-meter pool, an adventure pool, a 150-meter lazy river, Rain Drop, a rock slide, and a water slide, it is one of the most fully equipped pools in Nagasaki Prefecture. Whether drifting leisurely along the current, cheering on the slides, or letting young children splash in the shallows, every member of the family can find their own way to play. A shop and light-meal corner are on site, so there is no need to worry about food even if you stay all day. Admission is 500 yen for general visitors, 200 yen for high schoolers and younger, and 100 yen for preschoolers; an 11-visit ticket book costs 5,000 yen for general visitors, 2,000 yen for high schoolers and younger, and 1,000 yen for preschoolers. Lockers cost 100 yen per use. In the morning, see the Megane Bridge at Isahaya Park, then take in the view of the Isahaya Plain and Ariake Sea from Shirakimine Highlands before heading to the pool past noon. The pool is closed every Wednesday (July 22 and 29, August 5, 12, 19, and 26), so be sure to check the day of the week before you go.
