2026 Full-Day Starry Sky Course at Sanbe Nature Museum Sahimeru

A day centered on the individual/family stargazing session (for groups of 9 or fewer) held every Saturday at the Shimane Prefectural Sanbe Nature Museum Sahimeru. From October to March it's held twice, at 19:00 and 20:00, each session lasting 45 minutes; admission is 350 yen for adults and 100 yen for elementary through high school students. Reservations are required, accepted through the reservation website from 9:30 on the 1st of the preceding month (if you can't book online, you can also apply by phone at 0854-86-0500). Capacity is 60 people per session (30 during the winter period from December to February); on cloudy or rainy days, it's replaced with a live planetarium commentary in the Visual Dome. The Sanbe Nature Museum is open 9:30-17:00 (last entry 16:30), closed every Tuesday. During the day, you can also stop by Ukinuno Pond, about a 15-minute drive away (free to visit).
