The local guardian shrine of Sakanoshita, affectionately known as Gongoro-sama. The sight of the Enoden train rushing past right in front of the torii gate is one of Kamakura's most photographed spots—train-loving kids will be thrilled. After offering prayers for safe travels at the quiet shrine, wait for the retro-looking Enoden to pass and capture a family photo.
Tips
Take photos from outside the railway crossing for safety first. The nearby historic shop, Chikaramochi-ya, is famous for its Gongoro mochi—perfect for eating while walking or as a souvenir.

Allow 30 minutes; the Enoden typically passes every 12 minutes
