Challenge Yourself with Real Train Cars and Driving Simulators
About this spot
An interactive museum located beneath the elevated section of the Tozai Line Kasai Station. The display of Japan's first subway car, model 1001, and the full-scale train driving simulator are huge hits with children. There's also an exhibit where you can learn how subways are built, and for train enthusiasts, there's never enough time.
Tips
Admission is reasonable at ¥220 for adults and ¥100 for children. Note that it's closed on Mondays. The simulator tends to have waiting lines, so it's recommended to get in line first when you arrive.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour. Late afternoon before closing is relatively quieter
