Seaside harbor stroll and ferry watching—ferry voyage if time allows
About this spot
A car ferry terminal connecting Kanaya and Kuri-hama across the bay in approximately 40 minutes. Watching the large ship dock up close is a spectacular sight. If you have time to spare, a round-trip voyage offers a special experience—gazing at Mt. Nokogiri from the middle of Tokyo Bay. The terminal shop sells local seafood and sweets as well.
Tips
If boarding, confirm the departure time beforehand. On deck, you'll enjoy the sight of seagulls flying alongside, but the sea can be windy, so bring a jacket.
Best time to visit
About 30 minutes for viewing; plan about 90 minutes if taking a round-trip voyage.
