This day-use hot spring sits in the countryside just a short walk from Awamata Falls. In a large bath scented with wood and an open-air bath overlooking greenery, you can slowly ease the muscles tired from the waterfall tour walk. There's also a restaurant using local vegetables and a direct-sales corner for farm produce, so there's plenty to enjoy after your bath too.
Tips
Bringing your own towel saves money (rental and purchase are also available). It's reassuring to check the return bus schedule before you go in for your bath.
Best time to visit
Stay 1 to 1.5 hours. It's relatively relaxed just before evening.
