Enjoy the Morning to the Fullest with the Windmill, Flower Fields, and Large Athletic Facilities
About this spot
One of the prefecture's most popular parks, themed after Denmark, the homeland of storyteller Hans Christian Andersen. From the iconic windmill and seasonal flower fields to the large athletic equipment and pony rides in the Wanpaku Kingdom zone, plus creative activities at the Children's Art Museum, there's plenty to keep children from toddlers through elementary school age entertained all day long.
Tips
The park is very spacious, so bringing a stroller is essential (rentals available). You can bring your own lunch and enjoy a comfortable picnic on the lawns. Arriving right when the park opens on holidays is your best bet to avoid crowds.
Best time to visit
Allow 3 hours. Arriving right after opening on holidays is uncrowded and comfortable.
