Picnic at Minna no Harakka & Outdoor Play at Fuwa Fuwa Dome
About this spot
An expansive national park equivalent to approximately 39 Tokyo Domes. The symbol "Minna no Harakka" spreads with grass as far as the eye can see—perfect for laying out a picnic blanket in a premium spot. The park features "Kodomo no Mori" (Forest for Children) with the hugely popular Fuwa Fuwa Dome and Rainbow Hammocks, scattered water play areas, and seasonal flower gardens—so much that you won't be able to experience it all in a single day.
Tips
Entering from the Nishi-Tachikawa Entrance is convenient, as it's close to Minna no Harakka. The park is very spacious, so taking advantage of the Park Train or rental bicycles is recommended. Baby stroller rentals are also available.
Best time to visit
Allow 3 hours. On weekends during peak flower season, arriving right after opening is your best bet for smaller crowds.
