A small zoo with free admission located within Omiya Park. View Asiatic black bears, capybaras, flamingos, and monkey mountains up close—surprisingly comprehensive for a free venue. Its manageable size allows even young children to complete a full loop without fatigue, a great advantage for families.
Tips
Note that the zoo is closed Mondays (or the following weekday if Monday is a holiday). The compact layout allows a 30-minute visit, so for busy weekends, arriving right after opening is ideal.
Best time to visit
Allow 40–60 minutes. Animals are most active right after opening.
