Saitama Prefecture's oldest prefectural park, offering a pleasant retreat with red pine groves over 100 years old and expansive lawns. Known as a celebrated cherry blossom spot, it features a boat pond and a traditional children's amusement area—perfect for walks with children. You can enter directly from the grounds of Hikawa Shrine.
Tips
The park has restrooms and shops scattered throughout for peace of mind with children. The area around Shoyuike Pond and the red pine groves have plenty of shade, making it easy to stroll with a stroller even on hot days.
Best time to visit
Allow 30–40 minutes. Cherry blossoms and fresh greenery seasons are especially beautiful.
