About this spot
A small animal park near the Hodosan summit where children can watch Japanese macaques in a monkey enclosure or feed goats, sheep, and rabbits. The intimate scale is perfect for young children, and the peaceful, tree-enclosed atmosphere makes for a relaxing time.
Tips
It's a gentle uphill walk of about 5 minutes from the ropeway summit station. Animal feed is sold on-site, so having loose change is convenient. Check the ropeway descent times before exploring.
