Sand Play and Shoreline Walks on a Shallow Beach

About this spot

A shallow, wide sandy beach—one of the best in the Kanto region. Known as a barrier-free beach, it's perfect for sand play, seashell collecting, and shoreline walks. Children will be delighted with just these activities. Regardless of season, an evening stroll along the beach makes for a pleasant way to end the day.

Tips

A sand play set and change of clothes will be handy. The sandy beach is close to the parking lot, making it easy to navigate even with small children. During summer swimming season, afternoons can get crowded.

Best time to visit

Allow about 1 hour. Late afternoon is comfortable for play as the sun is less intense.
