Enjoy a Grand Panorama from the 9th Station of Chausudake via Gondola

A 4-minute aerial journey from the base station brings you directly to the 9th station of Chausudake. The sweeping panorama of Nasu Highland and the Kanto Plain spread before you is spectacular; on clear days, you can see distant mountain ranges. Even a short walk around the mountain station reveals the raw, volcanic landscape, and you can enjoy the feeling of being above the clouds without serious mountaineering equipment.
Tips
Even in midsummer, the summit is cool, so bring a light jacket. During strong winds, the ropeway may close, so check the official website's operating status in the morning before heading out for peace of mind.
