About this spot

A hub for flowers and greenery in Niigata, featuring a large glass dome by a pond. In the tropical plant dome, tall palms and tropical flowering trees flourish, offering a jungle-exploration-like experience. True to Niitsu's flower-growing heritage, seasonal displays of azaleas, peonies, tulips and more are impressive. The outdoor gardens are free to stroll through, and walking around the lawn and pond is a pleasantly relaxing experience.

Tips

The greenhouse is indoors, so it's comfortable even on rainy or hot days. The garden grounds are flat and easy to navigate with a stroller. The outdoor gardens are free, so bringing a picnic lunch for a break is recommended.

Best time to visit

Allow approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. The afternoon light beautifully filters through the dome.
