A museum preserving Kaga Hougyoku culture in Kanazawa, where Noh theater was so deeply rooted under the Maeda clan of Kaga that it was said "Noh chanting falls from the sky." You can view Noh masks of successive generations and lavish Noh costumes adorned with gold thread up close, savoring the profound depth of samurai culture in the quiet exhibition rooms. A popular experience corner allows you to try on Noh masks and costumes; a commemorative photo in this extraordinary outfit will be a highlight of your trip. Directly across from the 21st Century Museum, access is excellent.
