About this spot
A bridge approximately 1km in length connecting Ishikawa Prefecture and Noto Island, one of the longest in the prefecture. From the gently undulating bridge, Nanao Bay stretches out in all directions, offering a thrilling drive that feels like running over the sea. At the bridge's base are small parks and a roadside rest area where you can park and take commemorative photos with the bridge and sea as your backdrop. It's the perfect scenic spot to start your island journey.
Tips
Crossing is free. No parking or stopping is allowed on the bridge itself, so take photos at the Notojima Bridge Road Park near the base. Morning traffic is lighter, making it easier to cross. Remember to take photos on the park side.

Approximately 30 minutes required. The morning sunlight reveals the sea in beautiful blue color
