About this spot
An interactive science museum located south of Komatsu Station, distinguished by its distinctive grassy hillside roof. Inside, the exhibit area features numerous interactive installations where visitors can move their bodies and experience the wonders of science. Children from toddlers to elementary school age become absorbed in play. In the large dome-shaped 3D Studio, visitors enjoy spectacular three-dimensional film screenings, experiencing the feeling of journeying through space and nature. The rooftop is a freely accessible grassy hill where, on nice days, you can have fun running around.
Tips
Both the exhibit area and 3D Studio have separate admission fees, with combination tickets available. The 3D Studio has set screening times, so check the schedule upon entry and explore the exhibits accordingly for a smooth experience. The museum is stroller-friendly, and the ability to walk from Komatsu Station is a wonderful convenience.
