Leisurely Stroll Along the Lakeside Path with Views of Mount Hakusan
About this spot
A water park surrounding the Koba-gata Lake, which spans approximately 6 kilometers, located near Komatsu city center. On clear days, the majestic form of Mount Hakusan can be seen beyond the lake's surface—a view considered one of Kaga's most spectacular scenic vistas. Well-maintained, flat lakeside paths are perfect for walking and cycling. The park features grassy areas and playground equipment, making it an ideal afternoon rest spot for children to stretch their legs after their craft activities.
Tips
The paths are flat and easy for stroller navigation. The central park area has parking, shops, and restrooms. The lakeside has limited shade, so don't forget a hat and plenty to drink. Cycling around the lake on a rental bicycle is also highly recommended.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1.5 hours required. On clear afternoons, Mount Hakusan views are particularly beautiful.
