A shared workshop where artisans carrying on Echizen's 700-year blade-forging heritage gather. From the viewing area, you can watch blacksmiths spark-forging steel through glass panels—completely free of charge—and both adults and children are captivated by the thunderous sound of hammering. The direct-sale corner displays knives and blades crafted by artisans, where you can select a sharp knife at mill prices. Those who book ahead can try experience programs like paperknife-making.

Tips

Tours are free and require no reservation, but blacksmith work centers on weekday daytime—weekend demonstrations may be limited. The indoor facility is stroller-accessible with free parking. When purchasing a knife, ask the shop staff about personalization services.
