Tips
Free admission with parking available. The garden paths are flat and stroller-friendly. The adjacent Murasaki Shikibu and Kofu Museum (Yuka's Hall), an indoor facility, is a good alternative if rain becomes heavy. Wisteria blooms are spectacular in season.
Best time to visit
Approximately 45 minutes. Late afternoon light makes the fishing pavilion's reflection in the pond especially photogenic.
