A winter ski resort that becomes a scenic terrace destination during the green season. Riding the Panorama Lift for about 10 minutes brings you to 1,900 meters elevation, where sweeping views unfold: Nobeyama Highland, the Chichibu mountains, and on clear days, Mt. Fuji itself. The mountaintop deck features comfortable sofa seating and a café where you can relax in the highland breeze—a truly rewarding experience. For children, the chairlift itself is an exciting attraction, and this scenic vantage point is the perfect finale to your day.

Tips

The round-trip Panorama Lift fare is around ¥2,000 for adults (varies seasonally). Young children can ride with a guardian. It's significantly cooler at the summit than the base, so bring a jacket. Some sofa seats are reserved; check official information if you want to book ahead. Confirm the final lift-up time before heading there.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 30 minutes. Near evening, softer sunlight brings out beautiful shadows in the mountain ridges.
