About this spot

A mountain resort spread across the summit at approximately 1,289 meters elevation, easily accessible by gondola lift. The summit area features an observation terrace with the Hakuba Sanzan directly in front, where you can enjoy bread and coffee from the bakery café while taking in the grand panorama of the Northern Alps. The area is rich with activities for couples, including swing-type attractions and walking trails around the summit. During the green season, the contrast between the verdant meadows and the snow-capped peaks creates a stunning landscape where you won't be able to put your camera down.

Tips

Purchase a round-trip gondola ticket. Early morning hours offer clear air with crisp mountain views and easier terrace seating. Bring a light jacket as the summit is cooler than lower elevations.
