A quiet shrine nestled among trees along the pathway toward Yoro Falls. The shrine grounds feature Kikusuisen, a sacred spring selected as one of Japan's 100 finest waters and revered as a site connected to the filial son legend. The shrine building beyond the stone steps is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a solemn atmosphere distinct from the waterfall. Stop by during your walk to rest and pay your respects with your family.
Tips
Entry is free. Bring small coins for offerings as a precaution. Stone steps and slopes require holding children's hands. Since the shrine lies along the return path from the waterfall, stopping here on the way back creates a smooth flow.
Best time to visit
Allow approximately 40 minutes. It's most convenient to visit during your return from the waterfall in the late morning.
