A waterfront complex overlooking Shimizu Port. Within the facility, the "Shimizu Sushi Alley" (清水すし横丁) features sushi restaurants serving Suruga Bay's finest catches, allowing you to wrap up the day with Shizuoka specialties like cherry shrimp and whitebait. From the harbor-side deck, you can watch the bustle of passing ships and enjoy sunset views. Boarding the observation wheel offers sweeping views of Shimizu's streetscape and Suruga Bay, and on clear days, Mt. Fuji's silhouette emerges against the darkening sky. It's the perfect final stop for souvenir shopping as well.

Tips

Parking offers free service based on your purchase amount. The sushi alley tends to get busy during dinner hours, so arriving earlier is recommended. Riding the observation wheel around sunset and nightfall lets you enjoy both twilight and night views.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Just before and after sunset, the harbor scenery is at its most beautiful.
