A pristine white lighthouse standing on the west coast of the Chita Peninsula, known as Aichi Prefecture's oldest lighthouse. Set against the blue Ise Bay, its striking silhouette makes it a popular family photo spot. The area around the lighthouse offers a pleasant short walk with sea views, where you can leisurely watch passing ships and the horizon. It's also famous as a beautiful sunset viewing spot, making it a romantic location.
Tips
Located alongside the seaside road, so parking spaces are limited; use nearby parking lots and share courteously. The breakwater can be windy, so watch that children's hats don't blow away. Even a brief visit is highly satisfying, making it perfect for a quick stop during your drive.
