Located right beside the castle keep, this shrine is dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu and Hondа Tadakatsu (本多忠勝), the legendary warrior who served him. It is cherished as a shrine for success and prosperity, safe childbirth, and draws constant visitors seeking the blessings unique to Ieyasu's birthplace castle. With the keep as its backdrop, the shrine building is photogenic and perfect for a visit combined with touring the castle.
