A museum utilizing a former textile machinery factory where you can trace Nagoya's manufacturing heritage from yarn-spinning machines to automobile production through original equipment and live demonstrations. The Textile Machinery Hall features authentic looms operating with impressive clanking sounds—the demonstrations are thrilling. The Automobile Hall showcases dynamic machinery demonstrations of forging and assembly; machine and vehicle-loving children will be mesmerized. There's also a child-friendly hands-on learning corner called "Techno Land," making this a fitting conclusion to the day with rich, memorable experiences for the whole family.

Tips

It's about a 10-minute walk from Noritake's Forest, making it perfect for sequential sightseeing. The facility is spacious, so it's efficient to check demonstration times for the Textile Machinery Hall and Automobile Hall in advance and plan your visit around closing time. Stroller rental and coin lockers are available. Note: closed Mondays (or the following day if Monday is a holiday).

Best time to visit

Allow approximately 1.5 hours. Early evening has fewer tour groups, making it easier to view demonstrations up close.
