Tips
About 5 minutes by car from Katan Station; about 25 minutes uphill on foot. Guest shuttles available for overnight stays; for day-trippers, confirm availability in advance or take a taxi from the station. The Sky Foot Bath is free to use—bring your own towel for convenience. Day-trip bathing (fee) is also available if you have extra time for a warm-spring soak. Research sunset times and aim to arrive 30 minutes beforehand.
Best time to visit
Takes about 1 hour 30 minutes. Arriving at the foot bath about 30 minutes before sunset and lingering as the sun sets is highly recommended.
