Spain-themed districts are scattered throughout, and with each turn of an alley, you encounter scenes with different character. At the restaurants, you can enjoy Mediterranean cuisine such as paella while gazing at Ago Bay. Craft experiences such as tile work are also popular. While it functions as a lodging facility, day-visit entry is available, making it an ideal spot to spend about 2 hours leisurely combining lunch with a photo walk.
Tips
About 15 minutes by car from Kashikojima, with free parking available. Entry fee (approximately 500 yen per adult) is required for non-guests. Restaurants get crowded around meal times, so arriving right when they open or photographing the village first and having a late lunch runs more smoothly. If you want to do craft experiences, advance reservation is advisable. There are many slopes and stairs, so wear comfortable shoes.
