An astronomy museum representing the Tohoku region, perched on Nishikiigaoka overlooking the route back to Sendai from Sakunamori Road. The planetarium, featuring a 25-meter-diameter dome, projects approximately 10 million stars and offers a live explanation of that evening's night sky—truly breathtaking when surrounded by a canopy of starlight. About 30 minutes by car from Sakunamori direction; free parking available. Planetarium screenings are on set schedules, so check times and purchase tickets upon arrival. Check ahead for closure days (such as Wednesdays) before visiting.
