Located directly across from the Hideyo Noguchi Memorial Museum, this is one of Tohoku's premier glass palaces, collecting glass products from around the world. From traditional European glassware and vases to small animal-shaped glass figurines and seasonal ornaments, tens of thousands of items line the displays. Free admission allows you to enjoy the experience like a treasure hunt simply by walking and browsing. The sales floor glittering in light appears fresh to both children's and grandparents' eyes. With many reasonably priced small items, it's perfect for selecting souvenirs to commemorate your trip. The complex also houses a local craft beer hall and a sweets shop, allowing you to purchase Aizu craft beer for dad and sweets for the whole family in one convenient location after viewing the glass.

Tips

Directly across from the Hideyo Noguchi Memorial Museum—easily accessible on foot. Free parking available. Since glass products are fragile, ask the shop staff to wrap purchases carefully. Remind children not to run in the aisles. If shopping bags accumulate, consider taking them back to the car to move around more freely.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Best enjoyed in a leisurely afternoon time slot after lunch, when the afternoon light makes the glass even more beautiful.
