A small art museum located in the center of Inawashiro town, opened in the restored "Juhachiken-gura" sake brewery built approximately 140 years ago. The exhibition halls, which make full use of the thick beams and pillars to create a space filled with the warmth of wood, feature special exhibitions showcasing the creative works of people with disabilities and various artists. Most works are accessible without specialized knowledge, touching the heart naturally, making it a pleasure to walk through with three generations sharing impressions—"I like this" or "How strange." The compact single-floor space allows you to complete a tour without tiring even in the afternoon. With a café space and a grass plaza for rest after viewing, it's a pleasant feature. This spot adds an artistic touch to the lakeside nature and the history of great figures.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from the Hideyo Noguchi Memorial Museum area, located in the center of Inawashiro town. Parking available. The museum may be closed during exhibition changes, so check opening dates and exhibition content in advance. The exhibition rooms have few steps and are easy to navigate with elderly family members.
